Hello to our great DIW's!
I just wanted to send out a little note of inspiration today to encourage you to hang in there, both in life and in business! Any great dream or goal takes commitment, perseverance, and patience. But when you reach that goal, and taste the success of that dream coming true, you realize it was all worth the wait!
Never give up on what you want, and always live life saying “I am so glad I did” rather than “I wished I had.”
I’m grateful for all of you, and can't wait to connect with you more very soon!!

Start thinking about how you want to plan your Jewelry Bar® schedule. Is it more practical for you to hold Jewelry Bars in the evening, on the weekend, or a combination of the two? Are you able to hold morning, lunchtime, or afternoon Jewelry Bars? Figure out which days and hours work best for you. Now is also a great time to think about how you can recruit family and friends to help! If you have a teen daughter (14-17yrs), think about joining as a mother-daughter team. This is your business, so make it work for you!
Get to know the O2 must-dos as well as a couple of don'ts (you know, things that might not be a good idea). Below are a few things to keep in mind:

- Do host a Take Out Menu (catalog) or virtual Jewelry Bar®—Don’t be afraid to pick up the phone or send a personalized, mailed invitation. It adds a nice touch and gets great results!
- Do shadow your mentor at a Jewelry Bar to get a first-hand look at how to best run your own successful event.
- It might not be a good idea to create business cards just yet. You’ll receive instructions on how to order official Origami Owl-branded cards when you become a Designer.
- It might not be a good idea to sell any products on your own (in fact, this one is prohibited!). Plus, you won’t receive any of our awesome Designer benefits until you become a full-fledged Designer.
